Wouter Jan Strietman

I am a researcher at Wageningen Economic Research, the Netherlands. Since finishing my studies, I have worked mainly in the fields of marine governance, fisheries and marine litter. Working closely with local, national and international stakeholders, the results of our research directly feeds into the work and actions of local and national governments as well as that of the Arctic Council, OSPAR and IMO. I am happy to cooperate with this multi-disciplinary team and to contribute my knowledge and experience to provide stakeholders in the region with more insights into the sources and causes of marine litter as well as the solutions.
