Lawrence Mak

I am a senior researcher in offshore structures, marine vehicles, and lifesaving appliances. I also support the management of our Ocean Program and lead the development of a research plan on marine transportation of CO2 for CCUS. For NSAR project, I hope my experience with thermal protection in life rafts, lifeboats, protective clothing and components of Canada’s major air disaster kit; lifeboat towing; and portable bridges for natural disasters, etc. will contribute to the project.
