Laura Crick
Postdoctoral Fellow, Natural History Museum
Laura is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Natural History Museum, London working with Dr Alex Bond. Her background spans a range geochemical research with her PhD focussing on the climatic impact of volcanic eruptions using ice core sulfate. She has recently joined the NGPlastics project analysing the chemical composition of feathers from both contemporary environments and historical museum specimens. Using this data, she aims to better understand the mobility of trace elements in the environment and their relationship to plastic populations within wild foods.
