Katherine Wilson

Katherine is the Director of Knowledge Co-Production for SmartICE. She recently graduated with her PhD from Memorial University under the guidance of Drs. Trevor Bell and Gita Ljubicic. She has been working with Inuit in Mittimatalik, Nunavut, since 2015 to mentor youth in mobilizing Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit to aid community sea ice travel decision-making. Katherine is on interchange with SmartICE from the Canadian Ice Service, where she is the Chief of Strategic Policy and Planning.
