Co-Investigator, SmartICE Sea-ice Monitoring & Information Inc., Arctic Bay, Nunavut

Emily is Development Officer for SmartICE, working to establish the SmartICE Foundation. She also plays a role in SmartICE communications. Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Memorial University and is a former recruit of Canada’s Ocean Supercluster Indigenous Career Pivot Program. In 2021, Emily was recognized by Atlantic Business Magazine as one of the 30 top innovators under 30. She lives in Goose Bay, Labrador.
